Production Technologist
Axis Well Technology is looking for an experienced Production Technologist to join our staff in Aberdeen, UK.
Location - Aberdeen, UK.
Axis Well Technology was founded in 2001 as an independent well engineering and sub-surface support consultancy. The company provides a range of services that includes technical input and expertise for the design, planning and implementation phases of well operations, including well testing, completions, interventions and work-overs.
Axis is a rapidly expanding UK based Oil & Gas consultancy, specialising in well test, interventions and completion operations to the global industry. Axis performs the majority of its project work in-house. This promotes lateral learning - the sharing of best practice, ideas and technologies from other projects - and provides a gateway to an impressive library of data, together with access to industry-recognised technical software packages.
With a degree or MSc ideally in Petroleum Engineering (or in Science/Engineering), you will have several years relevant experience in production technology and well operations. With a proven track record that demonstrates delivery. He/she should be a good communicator and work well within a small team, but able to work independently when required. Supervisory skills and experience are essential.
Core skill sets required include:
- Written English
- Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint etc
- Sandface Completion Design
- Completion / Artificial Lift Design & Planning & Operation of a Variety of Lift Systems
- Stimulation / Perforating
- AFE / Cost Estimates
Beneficial Skills:
- Treatment of Scale, Wax and Asphaltines
- Tubing Stress Analysis
- Nodal Analysis (Well Performance)
- Production Optimisation
- Decision / Risk Analysis
- HPHT
- Subsea
Experience should include:
- Completion Design
- Work with a Major Operator and/or Service Company
